FIRST-HAND GLIMPSE OF HOLY LAND BY FR. DAVID WATHEN
Almost a decade ago, Fr. David Wathen embarked on a project that is now nearing completion – the publication of a guidebook to the sacred places where Jesus walked, titled “A Pilgrim’s Spiritual Handbook to the Holy Land.” This handy reference guide weaves together Scripture and history along with spiritual reflection, with illustrations from centuries of Christian devotional art. It is a practical, easy-to-read Catholic guide that celebrates the landscape where Christ lived, where present-day pilgrims can experience first-hand glimpses of the Holy Land that can still instruct and delight after more than 2000 years.
Unfortunately, the funding source for the publication of the book is no longer available. We are kindly asking for help shepherding this labor of love to fruition for future pilgrims to enjoy on their own journey to the Holy Land. Any donation that you can offer will be deeply appreciated.
