Begin your pilgrimage in Rome with sites such as the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, The Colosseum, The Spanish Steps and The St. Sebastian Catacombs. While visiting Vatican City, you’ll attend a Papal Audience to receive the Pope’s blessing and enjoy Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, as well as visiting the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Along with other famous shrines and basilicas, you’ll see Michelangelo’s breathtaking depiction of Moses at St. Peter in Chains Church.

Then, it’s on to Orvieto and its Cathedral to venerate the Eucharistic Miracle on display there, the miracle that prompted Pope Urban IV to institute the Feast of Corpus Christi.  Assisi is the next stop, St. Francis’ Portiuncula, and the Basilicas of St. Francis and St. Clare. On your way to Florence, you’ll have Mass in Siena at the Church of San Domenico, the place of the remains of St. Catherine.  Once in Florence, it’s on to The Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, Santa Maria Novella Church and Santa Croce. Enjoy local museums or the local arts of the lace and leather makers with the rest of your time there!

Before stopping in Venice, you’ll attend mass in Padua at the Basilica of St. Anthony. Your trip ends among the canal streets of Venice, the wavy, tiled floors of St. Mark’s Basilica, and the Doge’s Palace.
