Franciscan Pilgrimage to the Holy Land

Begin your journey in Nazareth and the Basilica of the Annunciation. Watch pilgrims renew their wedding vows in Cana and travel to Mount Tabor, the spot of the Transfiguration. Then journey to the Mt. of the Beatitudes and Capernaum before boarding a boat on the Sea of Galilee. Visit Bethsaida, the hometown of Peter, Andrew, and Philip. Cross through the desert of Jericho and renew your baptismal vows by the River Jordan. Then onto Jerusalem to the Garden of Gethsemane and Mary’s tomb, the site of Mary’s Assumption. Follow the Via Dolorosa and carry the cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre where you can venerate the Tomb of Jesus.
